How it works

Every day has its own 180-day look-back.

Rolling window

For each day of a proposed stay, the calculation looks back across that day and the preceding 179 days.

Both border days count

The date of entry is the first day of stay and the date of exit is the last day of stay.

Verify officially

Long-stay visas, residence permits and individual circumstances can follow different rules. This tool does not assess eligibility.
