Cookies

Rutaiva keeps tracking and third-party scripts to a minimum.

Current use

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page views and performance through a lightweight beacon that Cloudflare states does not store or access cookies, local storage or other browser storage. Google Analytics is currently disabled by a fail-closed production feature flag, so its script and cookies are not loaded. If you allow optional measurement, Travelpayouts Drive may use cookies or similar identifiers for content analytics and affiliate attribution. Optional services are not loaded when you choose “Only necessary.”

Saved trips

Rutaiva stores guest trips in browser local storage under the versioned key rutaiva:trips:v1. The compatible record can include V2 workspace data such as saved places, manual reservation details and checklist status without changing the key, so existing trips remain recoverable. Signed-in users also keep a validated local cache so previously loaded trips remain readable during a temporary connection problem. Clearing browser storage removes these device copies but does not by itself delete authenticated cloud copies.

Account sessions

Supabase authentication uses necessary first-party session cookies scoped to Rutaiva so a signed-in user can securely access only their own cloud trips and keep the session refreshed. These cookies are required for account and sync functionality; they are not controlled by the optional analytics preference.

Provider websites

When you choose a sponsored provider link, the provider and, where applicable, Travelpayouts may set their own cookies or identifiers under their policies to operate the site, remember preferences and attribute a qualifying booking. Rutaiva does not control those third-party cookies.

Your analytics choice

Rutaiva stores your allow-or-decline choice in browser local storage under rutaiva:analytics-consent. This preference controls Travelpayouts Drive and will control Google Analytics only in a future reviewed build where the GA4 feature flag is explicitly enabled. You can open or change the choice using “Analytics preferences” in the footer.

Browser controls

Your browser can block or remove cookies and local storage. Blocking necessary authentication cookies prevents cloud sync. Removing Rutaiva’s site data signs the browser out, removes local trip copies and returns optional analytics and affiliate measurement to the default off state; cloud trips remain available after a later sign-in unless you delete them or request account deletion.
